1. Mac OS X
1.1 AstroPlanner seems quite sluggish on Mac OS X. What gives?
This is a combination of several factors:
- The speed of the framework used to build AstroPlanner.
- The speed of the Mac OS X GUI.
- The fact that a lot is going on under the hood in AstroPlanner.
- Slowdowns due to Rosetta (if you're using an Intel-based Mac.
- Poor legacy design decisions.
We fully expect it to be a lot faster in the future.
