What you get

Registration entitles you to:

• No more "nag" messages or unavailable/limited options.
• An alternate manual with higher-quality graphics, suitable for printing.
• The full catalogue collection (including the Tycho database) any future additions or updates. See below for a full list. Hubble GSC only available on CD-ROM. See below.
• The ability to request particular catalogues, where available (the conversion of catalogues to AstroPlanner format is currently only available through the developer)
• Future updates to the version you purchased at no extra cost (if such updates are downloaded. There is an extra charge for updates on CD-ROM).

Purchasing options

Both Kagi and PayPal are reputable, secure and easy-to-use payment services. You can choose whichever you prefer. Neither service requires that you have, or create, an account. See below for other options.

Please make sure you are happy with the freeware version and that it works to your satisfaction on your computer/s before paying any money, as organising a refund is difficult, expensive and time-consuming.

Note: we absorb any VAT, fees or US sales taxes (unless the Kagi store deducts them). You just pay the amount mentioned above. If you are outside the USA and order the CD-ROM, you might be charged VAT or duty by your customs department. That's out of our control.

Catalogues

Here is the current list of available catalogues (over and above the Messier, NGC and Bright Star that were supplied with the freeware version). Please note that although AstroPlanner can make use of the USNO A2.0 and UCAC2 catalogues, these are not supplied.
