	Today I logged my 5000th observation. 4751 of these were logged in the past four years. Reaching this number of logged observations is something I could not have dreamed about when I started to record them. Why mention it here? Because it would not have been possible without AstroPlanner. The power of the application, its catalogues, its features, its developer... that's what made it possible for me to reach this personal milestone. Simple as that.

	I must say it again, you keep making this product world class!! I don't know how many people I have impressed with AstroPlanner. I think they bought it immediately!! The ability to see notes and move your scope is amazing. I used to have to use Cartes du Ciel if I wanted to find and goto interesting objects in the night sky, but now I find myself using just AstroPlanner (because I can zoom out enough to see all "cool" things nearby) Just great. Keep up this great work!!

	First of all allow me to join the unanimous chorus of praise and thanks for an elegant and useful program. What I like about it, besides the functionality, which goes without saying, is that it seems to have created a community of astronomers who are willing to share, in the form of their uploaded plans, what it is that turns them on in observing. This is great for those of us who are not near other amateurs to share in their enthusiasm and to learn from them during mutual observing sessions. I look at the plans and, hmm, there's one on double stars. Voila, a new world in observing has opened for me!

	This past Saturday, like so many of us, I ventured out to try the Messier Marathon, albeit in a less-than-honorable way: using a computer-controlled Obsession 20-inch telescope. It was my first time out with my newly installed ServoCAT / Argo Navis system, and what a night it was! AstroPlanner breezed through almost all of the Messier objects (I just ran out of caffeine!), driving the ServoCAT without a glitch. Along with the wonderful wireless hand controller at the eyepiece, I was in viewing heaven. The pointing accuracy was nothing short of amazing--MUCH better than my previous Meade LX200 ever was. Quite simply, this was my most enjoyable evening ever at a telescope, all made possible by AstroPlanner, Dave Kriege's Obsession, Gary Kopff's Argo Navis and Gary Myers' ServoCAT. These products are transforming to the hobby!

	AstroPlanner is quickly becoming a best-of-breed application, with world class support. Seriously, this is the way all products should be developed! We need more vendors with ears. What is more amazing is that you manage to do all this in your spare time and still keep a sense of humour!

	The work effort you have put in bringing this program to where it is today is rarely found in strictly commercial work; it requires not a businessman, but a poet (albeit with technical skills and thick skin)... and a love for the work.

	Holy moly! What an amazingly kick-ass piece of software! I can't believe I have never been exposed to this product until now. You have done a ASTOUNDING job here. The user interface design is some of the best I have ever seen in any astro software anywhere. And the Mac OS version is just friggin' beautiful. I must own a copy...now! Where's my credit card!

	For what it's worth, your software "rocks", "is da bomb", or however they say it these days. I just bought an LX200GPS and have been using Macs since 82. Boy was I impressed with your software!. My goal is to completely remote control the scope and take astrophotos and observe from the comfort of my Den. Your software coupled with OS X has taken me most of the way toward that goal. No complaints, and 5 stars for your efforts.

	AstroPlanner is a superb program for planning a night under the skies and for recording the observations that one makes.

	It is worth every bit of it, and more. It is a well conceived program that allows you to build observing plans, capture your observations, control the telescope. It has a lot of nifty features, a ton of catalogs, and a very responsive developer who often accomodates requests for new features the same day!

	Just received AstroPlanner CD and all I can say is WOW, WOW,WOW. Now my viewing sessions can have some organization!! I am just scratching the surface of the program and it is fantastic. The best $30^* I have ever spent on software..........bar none!!!!!

	May I just say OMG! This program is absolutely fantastic. It drove my Nexstar 8i around the sky like a pro, and the ability to pre-plan my night, go directly to my target, AND log in my observation notes was a dream come true. All in all, this is the BEST $20^* I have spent on my hobby (obsession?), and I thank you for a most excellent program.

	I'm a professional astronomer using your software to plan observations on some of the largest telescopes on the planet. I suspect you didn't have my demographic in mind when putting the software together, but AstroPlanner is a really terrific program --- I bought two licenses instead of one because I wanted to give you a little extra encouragement.

	I feel that it is important to add my very deep gratitude for the absolutely wonderful product that you have made available to us. (How about that for a gushy statement???) . Seriously though, I spent my career in the computer arena, most of the time as an IS Director/CIO. It is highly unusual to find a piece of software that is managed and maintained by it author in the same manner as Astroplanner. Your attention to detail and your responsiveness to your users are astounding. Thank You for a great product and great service.

	BTW, for those of you who haven't looked at AstroPlanner in a while, it's my nominee for "most improved astro program." It went from being an OK Mac app and an "also ran" on the PC to one of *the* hottest astro programs out there--for Mac or Win.

	I have a Meade LX200R scope on a Mitty Evolution Wedge and I used Astroplanner for the first time to Iterative Align my scope. First a statement: What an awesome program! I've been polar aligning since June of this year without Astroplanner and last night it took me about 1/10th the time to align than it usually does. I love this program!

	I just downloaded Astroplanner after seeing a link to your old best pair software in an LX200GPS user group tip sheet on Yahoo!. I registered about 15 minutes later. Wow. This is terrific. I love it! My only wish is that I had found you BEFORE I purchased Starry Night - because so far anyway, as an utter neophyte to the hobby and the proud but overwhelmed owner of a 12" LX200GPS telescope I am slowly learning how to use, I'm finding Astroplanner to be infinitely more straightforward to help me through things than SN. It's also refreshing to see full functionality native Mac support for a change too. The Mac community seems badly overlooked where this hobby is concerned and I just want to say thanks for making such a great piece of software. I look forward to seeing what other cool things you have in mind for 2007.

	I have been exposed to a lot of software applications in my time and my expectations are usually much higher than what is realized, especially for programs which are developed by one or two individuals. I am just astounded that one person could develop such a product. It is exactly what I was looking for to handle my planning and observing needs. Also, your web site, and marketing philosophy, are perfect for the audience and the application. It will be highly recommended to my astronomy friends.
